RealTruck EMEA (Denmark) is looking for a Quality Engineer to our team in Frederikssund.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Lead the development and implementation of supplier quality strategies and processes.
- Conduct thorough supplier assessments and audits to evaluate their capabilities and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality performance.
- Oversee the PPAP process for new and existing suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Review and approve PPAP documentation, including PFMEA, control plans, and measurement system analysis (MSA) studies.
- Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure smooth product launches.
- Efficiently manage supplier-related quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality problems and minimize their impact on production.
- Implement effective containment measures to prevent defective parts from reaching the assembly line.
- Provide support to quality management in various areas, such as quality system audits, customer complaints, and regulatory compliance.
- Act as a backup for quality management roles as needed.
You will succeed in this position if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 will also be an advantage.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and problem-solving techniques (e.g., 8D, 5 Why).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, and FMEA.
- Experience with supplier quality management and development.
- Fluent in Danish and English on a proficient level.
